Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Induction Machine Supervisor to lead our team in the design, installation, and maintenance of induction machines. This role is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment, driving innovations in induction machine technology, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence within our organization. As a supervisor, you will guide a team of engineers and technicians while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of induction machines ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational protocols.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance on troubleshooting and optimizing machine performance.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance machine reliability and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to innovate and improve induction machine designs based on operational feedback.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of machine performance, compiling detailed reports and recommending improvements.
- Champion a culture of safety, ensuring all team members are trained and compliant with industry regulations and safety standards.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in supervising induction machine operations or similar roles within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and induction machine design.
- Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex projects with successful outcomes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues effectively.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with advanced diagnostic tools and software for induction machine analysis.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to machine safety and performance.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- In-depth knowledge of induction machine operation, maintenance, and repair principles.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and performance assessment tools, including vibration analysis and thermal imaging.
- Experience with CAD software for machine design and modification.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and automation systems.
