Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Home-based Preschool Teacher to join our innovative educational team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate curricula for preschool-aged children in a home-based setting. You will play a critical role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that promotes holistic child development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans that align with early childhood education standards and cater to the unique needs of each child.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration, creativity, and independent learning.
- Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt instructional strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Engage with families to provide updates on their child's development, address concerns, and foster strong home-school connections.
- Mentor and support junior teachers, sharing best practices and encouraging professional development within the team.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the educational experience.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in early childhood education, preferably in a preschool or home-based setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
- Ability to design inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience in leadership or mentoring roles within an educational setting.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools and resources.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
