Role Overview
We are looking for a Habilitation Supervisor to lead our team in enhancing the quality of care and services provided to individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of individualized habilitation plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor habilitation staff, promoting best practices in service delivery.
- Develop, implement, and review individualized habilitation plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor client progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
- Facilitate staff training and development initiatives to enhance team competencies and improve service quality.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including families, advocacy groups, and community resources, to enhance service delivery.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in habilitation services or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of developmental disabilities and effective intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Prior supervisory experience in a habilitation or related setting.
- Experience with person-centered planning and implementation.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in using case management software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Familiarity with data collection and analysis techniques to measure client outcomes.
- Understanding of assistive technology and its application in habilitation services.
