Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Freight Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations. In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing freight strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities

- Conduct regular audits of freight processes and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align freight operations with production schedules and inventory management.
- Lead initiatives to implement technology solutions that enhance freight management capabilities.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in freight management or logistics, with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations, compliance, and safety standards.
- Demonstrated experience in contract negotiation and relationship management with freight carriers.
- Proficient in logistics software and tools for tracking and managing freight operations.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with international freight and customs regulations.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools to drive informed decision-making in freight operations.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in logistics management software (e.g., TMS, WMS).
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
