Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Food Demonstrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative food demonstrations that effectively showcase our products, drive customer engagement, and ultimately enhance the consumer experience. You will lead a team of demonstrators while collaborating with marketing and sales to ensure our product messaging resonates with our audience.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute captivating food demonstrations that highlight product benefits and features
- Train and mentor a team of food demonstrators, ensuring adherence to company standards and best practices
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies that align with our brand identity
- Gather and analyze customer feedback during demonstrations to refine product messaging and presentation techniques
- Manage logistics for demonstration events, including setup, teardown, and inventory management
- Represent the company at trade shows and community events, building relationships with potential customers and stakeholders
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in food demonstration or culinary sales
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while delivering exceptional customer service
Preferred:
- Culinary degree or relevant certification
- Experience in a retail or food service environment
- Familiarity with nutritional products or specialty foods
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and presentation skills
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms for promoting events
- Ability to use point-of-sale systems for transaction processing and inventory management
