Role Overview

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in traffic control or transportation planning.
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in traffic modeling software (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience working with government agencies on traffic management projects.
- Knowledge of intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and their applications.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in the use of traffic analysis and simulation software.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for spatial analysis.
