Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Kitchen Supervisor (Fish Frying) to oversee our culinary operations focused on delivering exceptional fish dishes. This role is critical in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and operational efficiency while fostering a vibrant and productive kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Supervisor, you will lead a team of culinary professionals and ensure the successful execution of our menu offerings.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards
- Oversee the preparation and frying of fish, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen best practices
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop and refine menu items, focusing on innovation and customer preferences
- Implement and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen, with a focus on fish preparation and frying
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Culinary degree or relevant certification
- Experience in menu development and food cost management
- Familiarity with various fish species and frying techniques
