Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Claims Manager specializing in Fire claims to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge of insurance claims management to oversee the entire claims process, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of fire-related claims while providing exceptional service to our policyholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the claims management process for fire-related claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Review and assess claims for validity, determining coverage and policy limits, and making informed decisions regarding claims payments.
- Collaborate with adjusters, investigators, and legal representatives to gather relevant information and evidence to support claims evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve claims processing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior claims staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professionalism.
- Monitor and analyze claims performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Act as a liaison between policyholders and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely updates throughout the claims process.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in insurance claims management with a focus on fire claims.
- In-depth knowledge of fire insurance policies, relevant laws, and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments based on available information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Associate in Claims (AIC) are a plus.
- Experience with claims management software and data analysis tools.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

- Strong understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies for performance tracking.
