Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director of Financial Systems to lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of financial systems across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the integration of cutting-edge financial technologies, drive process improvements, and ensure our financial systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of financial systems initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reporting capabilities
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and support of financial software, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
- Manage and mentor a team of financial systems analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system enhancements
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of financial systems
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, conducting regular audits and assessments

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in financial systems management, with a proven track record of successful implementations
- Strong expertise in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and financial reporting tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
Preferred:
- Experience with cloud-based financial systems and data analytics tools
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are a plus
