Role Overview
We are seeking a Financial Counseling Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional financial guidance to our clients. Responsibilities
- Lead the financial counseling team, providing mentorship and guidance to counselors while promoting professional development

- Oversee the assessment and evaluation of client financial situations, providing actionable recommendations and support
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial counseling into broader organizational initiatives

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance service offerings
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops for staff to enhance knowledge and skills in financial counseling
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in financial counseling, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and investment strategies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or similar
- Experience in a nonprofit or community-focused organization
- Familiarity with financial counseling software and tools
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve counseling services
