Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to join our finance team. In this fully remote role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial planning. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will help drive our financial success and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, documentation, and reports
- Support external audits and collaborate with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits
- Implement and refine financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or pursuing CPA certification
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in financial reporting tools and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus
