Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- PhD in Economics, Statistics, or a related field with a strong focus on econometrics
- 8+ years of experience applying econometric techniques in a professional setting, preferably within a corporate environment
- Proven expertise in building and validating econometric models using statistical software (e.g., R, Python, Stata)
- Strong understanding of causal inference, time series analysis, and panel data methodologies
Preferred:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven organization with complex datasets
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and their application in econometric analysis
- Published research in relevant academic journals or industry publications
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in statistical software packages such as R, Python, or SAS for data analysis and model development
