Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Document Imaging Manager to oversee the development and implementation of document imaging strategies within [$COMPANY_NAME]. This role is critical in enhancing operational efficiency through the management of document capture, storage, and retrieval processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations while optimizing workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of document imaging solutions to improve data accessibility and integrity across the organization.
- Manage the full lifecycle of document imaging projects, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze requirements for document imaging processes and technologies.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data management, including data protection, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain documentation for imaging processes, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Monitor and report on project milestones and performance metrics, implementing improvements as necessary.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in document imaging, document management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of imaging technologies and data capture solutions.
- Proven experience in managing projects and leading teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with enterprise content management (ECM) systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to document retention and management.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is a plus.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in document imaging software and hardware, including scanners and OCR technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based document management systems and data storage solutions.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations, including GDPR and relevant industry standards.
