Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Control Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and managing document control processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards, and facilitating seamless communication across various teams. Your efforts will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our documentation and supporting our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
- Organize and manage all company documentation, including design specifications, engineering change orders, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate the review and approval processes for documents, ensuring timely feedback from stakeholders.
- Facilitate training sessions for employees on document control processes and systems.
- Monitor document versions, ensuring the correct versions are distributed and accessible to relevant teams.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of all controlled documents and reports on document status to management.
- Support audits and inspections by ensuring that all documentation is current and accessible.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in document control or a related role, preferably within a regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of document management systems and quality management principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, engineering, or quality management.
- Experience with ISO standards or other regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in document control systems and database management.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards and best practices.
- Experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS) and version control.
