Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Lead Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while managing a variety of administrative tasks to support our clinical team. Responsibilities
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow

- Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations, optimizing the use of clinical resources
- Handle patient inquiries, billing questions, and insurance verifications with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Implement and refine office procedures to enhance patient satisfaction and operational efficiency
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a dental or medical receptionist role
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in dental practice management software
Preferred:
- Experience with patient insurance claims processing
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
- Certification in dental administration or similar credential
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in using dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
