Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced VP of Data Governance to lead our data management strategy at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading large-scale data initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and industry standards.
- Experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks in a complex organizational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred:
- Experience with data management tools and technologies (e.g., data cataloging, metadata management, data lineage).
- Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Information Systems, Business Administration).
- Certification in data governance or related disciplines (e.g., CDMP, CDO, DGSP).
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data governance technologies and frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data management platforms (e.g., Informatica, Collibra).
