Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Director of Crop Nutrition Science to lead our research initiatives focused on optimizing crop nutrition strategies. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to drive innovative solutions that enhance agricultural productivity, sustainability, and environmental stewardship, while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge research programs to advance crop nutrition science and develop effective fertilization strategies.
- Manage and mentor a team of agronomists and researchers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Collaborate with other departments including product development, marketing, and sales to translate research findings into practical applications.
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to enhance research capabilities and drive knowledge sharing.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving crop nutrition management.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of experience in crop nutrition research and development, with a proven track record of successful project management.
- Strong understanding of soil-plant interactions, nutrient management, and sustainable agricultural practices.
Preferred:
- Experience in leading multidisciplinary research teams and managing complex projects.
- Publication record in high-impact agricultural journals.
- Familiarity with precision agriculture technologies and data analytics.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in agronomic modeling and statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, Python).
- Knowledge of nutrient management planning and soil fertility assessments.
- Proficiency in field trial design and execution.
