Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) who will be responsible for the overall financial management and accounting operations of [$COMPANY_NAME]. Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification required.
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of managing complex financial operations and leading high-performing teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in a publicly traded company or high-growth environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
- Experience with financial planning and analysis tools and ERP systems.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems.
- Experience with advanced Excel functions, financial modeling, and data analysis.
