Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Concrete Foreman to lead our construction teams in executing high-quality concrete projects. In this fully remote role, you will oversee all aspects of concrete work, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while mentoring your team and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise concrete crews, providing hands-on guidance and support to ensure project milestones are met
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project managers
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to manage the flow of materials and resources
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices, safety protocols, and technical skills
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in concrete construction, with a proven track record in a supervisory role
- Strong understanding of concrete materials, methods, and techniques
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Solid knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction
Preferred:
- Experience with project management software or tools
- Certifications in safety training or concrete technology
- Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and materials
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience with estimating costs and scheduling resources effectively
