Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Clinical Rehabilitation Aide to join our innovative healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the rehabilitation aides, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and effective rehabilitation programs. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to implement treatment plans that promote patient recovery and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of rehabilitation aides, providing guidance on best practices and patient care standards
- Coordinate with physical therapists and occupational therapists to implement and monitor rehabilitation programs
- Conduct regular assessments of patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies, maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients
- Provide training and support to rehabilitation aides on new techniques and protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and rehabilitation activities
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting
- 3+ years of experience as a rehabilitation aide or similar role
- Strong understanding of rehabilitation practices and patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience in a lead or supervisory role within a clinical setting
- Certification in CPR and first aid
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and patient management software
- Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation equipment
- Understanding of data analytics to track patient outcomes and program effectiveness
