Role Overview
We are seeking a Welding Quality Manager to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in quality management within a welding environment
- Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards such as AWS, ASME, and ISO
- Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Certification as a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or similar
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in quality management software and statistical analysis tools
- Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques
- Experience with welding simulation software and process optimization
