Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Catalogue Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and updating our product catalog, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating smooth operations within our inventory system. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be critical in maintaining the integrity of our catalogue.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the product catalog, including data entry, updates, and maintenance
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to product descriptions, pricing, and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve discrepancies
- Perform regular audits of the catalog to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Assist in the development of catalog organization and layout for improved user experience
- Respond to inquiries related to product information and availability
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in catalog management or data entry, preferably in an e-commerce or retail environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred:
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Experience with inventory management systems or catalog software
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices for product listings
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficiency in data management tools and catalog software
- Experience with content management systems (CMS)
- Basic understanding of HTML and digital content formatting
