Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Business Unit Manager to support our strategic initiatives and operational excellence across various business functions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior management to drive performance metrics, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the overall success of the business unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of business strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational goals.
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders, providing insights on performance trends and operational improvements.
- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of business objectives.
- Participate in project management initiatives, ensuring timely delivery of projects within budgetary constraints.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business operations, project management, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on stakeholder engagement.
Preferred:
- Experience in a leadership or managerial capacity within a business unit.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and budget management.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data visualization tools.
- Experience with CRM systems and business intelligence software.
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
