Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Manager to lead our analytics team in harnessing data-driven insights to shape strategic business decisions. In this role, you will architect and oversee the implementation of robust data solutions that empower stakeholders across the organization. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a data-centric culture and enhancing our analytical capabilities to drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the business intelligence strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage the analytics team, providing mentorship and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovative thinking.
- Design and implement data models, dashboards, and reports utilizing tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to facilitate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Oversee data governance initiatives to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Analyze complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decision-making.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear and actionable business strategies.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading analytics teams.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience in implementing data governance frameworks and ensuring data compliance.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights.
Preferred:
- Experience in a managerial or leadership role within a fast-paced environment, preferably in the technology or finance sectors.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and ETL processes.
- Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Proficient in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data warehousing solutions and ETL tools.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts and applications is a plus.
