Role Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key resource for customers seeking guidance on cannabis products, providing an exceptional customer experience while fostering a welcoming environment. You'll leverage your expertise to educate customers, recommend products, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide personalized product recommendations based on their needs and preferences
- Educate customers on the benefits, effects, and proper usage of various cannabis products
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of our product offerings, including strains, edibles, and concentrates
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations, including age verification and product handling
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and restocking shelves as necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing questions and concerns with professionalism and care
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all customers
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, particularly in the cannabis industry
- Familiarity with cannabis regulations and compliance
- Certifications related to cannabis education or product knowledge
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software
- Proficient in using digital communication tools for remote customer interactions
- Basic understanding of cannabis cultivation and product processing
