Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Bank Manager to support the daily operations of our branch. In this role, you will assist in leading a team of banking professionals, ensuring exceptional customer service while driving operational excellence within the branch.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Bank Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staffing, customer service, and regulatory compliance
- Support the development and execution of branch sales strategies to achieve growth targets
- Foster a positive team environment by mentoring and coaching staff on best practices and performance improvement
- Ensure adherence to banking policies and procedures, while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Manage customer escalations and complex transactions, ensuring swift resolution and satisfaction
- Conduct regular audits of branch activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
- Support the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new staff members
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in banking or financial services, with a proven track record of leadership
- Strong understanding of banking operations, compliance, and customer service principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with branch management software and reporting tools
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with banking software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- Understanding of financial products and services offered by the bank
