Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to join our team at [$COMPANY_NAME]. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud architectures to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available cloud architectures using AWS services
- Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop migration strategies for on-premise applications
- Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor cloud usage to ensure compliance with budgets
- Collaborate with development teams to establish cloud best practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Oversee cloud security and compliance, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams on cloud technologies and architectural patterns
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS services
- Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or similar certification
- Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD
- Experience in multi-cloud environments and hybrid cloud architectures
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Deep expertise in AWS services and architecture
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or DataDog
