Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive design or development
- Proficient in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and automotive standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and creativity
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related engineering discipline
- Experience with electric vehicle (EV) design and development
- Familiarity with automotive safety and regulatory standards
- Proven track record of successful project management and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
- Expertise in automotive systems, including powertrains, chassis, and electrical systems
- Proficient in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and finite element analysis (FEA)
- Experience with prototyping and testing methodologies to validate design concepts
- Knowledge of automotive software tools for design and analysis
