What started with a vision to bring quality healthcare to underserved communities, Zócalo Health has grown into a beacon of hope for many Latino families across the United States. Founded by Erik Cardenas and Mariza Hardin, Zócalo Health emerged from their personal experiences of witnessing the obstacles their families faced in accessing adequate healthcare. Each faced barriers from a young age, which fueled their determination to create a system by Latinos, for Latinos, that truly understands and addresses the healthcare needs of the community.

With a mission to provide accessible and affordable healthcare, Zócalo Health integrates traditional Latinos practices with modern medical techniques. Their approach is holistic: offering not only urgent care and primary health services but also support for mental health, nutrition, and social services. The dedicated team at Zócalo, including healthcare professionals, community health workers, and outreach specialists, engages members directly within their communities. They foster trust and build lasting relationships, as they believe understanding one's background and culture is pivotal in delivering effective healthcare.
