The company specializes in anti-theft parcel boxes designed to protect deliveries from theft and weather conditions. Their products aim to provide homeowners with secure, weatherproof solutions for package deliveries, ensuring peace of mind and enhancing home security. In addition to parcel boxes, it offers customizable house numbers to complement their products and personalize home exteriors.

About the Role:
We're hiring an AI Systems Engineer (AI-First Builder) to own and build internal systems using AI as the primary tool. This role is ideal for someone who sees messy problems and immediately thinks in systems and automation.

You will take ideas from zero to production using AI to move fast—directing, structuring, and shipping complete systems rather than writing everything manually. There is no rigid process; you will build your way and own the results. This role focuses on leverage and outcomes, not hours of code written.

Responsibilities:

• Own systems end-to-end (ideate build deploy maintain)
• Decide on stack, architecture, and tools independently
• Use AI to massively accelerate development
• Build AI-powered internal tools and automation systems
• Design data pipelines and decision systems
• Create dashboards and internal UIs (AI-assisted)
• Integrate APIs and external systems into cohesive workflows
• Deploy, manage, and maintain production systems
• Continuously improve systems based on performance and usage
• Guide, structure, validate, and improve AI-generated code
• Ensure system reliability and handle edge cases

Qualifications:

• Proven experience building and shipping real systems end-to-end
• Active use of AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GPT) in software development
• Strong backend engineering skills (Python, Node, or similar)
• Ability to build functional dashboards and internal tools
• Experience with:
  • Deployment (cloud environments, hosting)
  • Authentication and authorization
  • Data security and encryption
  • API integrations and system design
• Ability to turn unclear problems into working systems independently
• Strong communication skills and willingness to experiment
• Analytical mindset with a focus on solving problems
• Curiosity and drive to find better, faster solutions
• Focus on building reliable, useful applications used daily

Nice to Have:

• Experience with agent-based systems or LLM orchestration
• Experience with data pipelines, scraping, or transformation
• Experience building internal tools
