Xpansiv is a global market-infrastructure provider for environmental commodities, playing a pivotal role in the global energy transition. The company's comprehensive technology platform covers the entire lifecycle of these commodities, connecting a diverse range of markets and participants worldwide. Xpansiv's core mission is to provide the tools and information necessary to accurately value agriculture, energy, and materials, thereby unleashing the power of global markets to foster a sustainable future. The company operates the world's largest integrated, open, and neutral market infrastructure for environmental, social, and governance (ESG)-inclusive commodities. This includes carbon offsets, renewable energy certificates (RECs), and differentiated fuels, which are critical for companies aiming to meet their environmental and emissions reduction goals.

The company was formed in 2019 through the merger of CBL, a spot exchange for environmental commodities founded in 2009, and Xpansiv, a data and analytics firm founded in 2016. This union created a powerful entity that combines a leading spot exchange with advanced registry and data-interface capabilities. Xpansiv's infrastructure supports transparent, secure, and auditable transactions for both on-market and over-the-counter (OTC) trading. Its key business units include CBL, the largest spot exchange for carbon credits; SRECTrade, a major player in the solar renewable energy market; APX, a leading provider of registry infrastructure for energy and environmental markets; and H2OX, a spot exchange for Australian water allocations. Through these platforms and its market data services, Xpansiv is dedicated to scaling decarbonization efforts globally by providing the necessary infrastructure for efficient and transparent environmental markets.
