Shopify Store Developer
At Wyndly, we're fixing allergies for 100 million Americans by training their bodies to ignore allergy triggers. We've built a successful B2B channel, and now we're looking for someone obsessed with building high-converting Shopify stores for our next phase of growth.
The Role
We need a hands-on implementer who can figure out why our designs look perfect in Figma but ship broken to production. You'll own the bridge between design and live—taking mockups, shipping them fast, and making sure they actually work before customers see them. You'll build the playbook for how we iterate without breaking things.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
Own implementation end-to-end: Take Figma designs, customize Shopify themes, integrate apps, and ship within 2-3 days
Crack our quality puzzle: Figure out why pages ship with bugs, and build a testing system that catches them first
Turn design velocity into conversion velocity: We iterate constantly on landing pages and product pages—you'll make sure each iteration actually converts better
Build the testing machine: Test every page on desktop and mobile, validate end-to-end flows, check performance, catch edge cases before launch
Partner with our designer and growth team: You won't design, but you'll know exactly what's possible and what's risky based on what you've shipped before
Work within our existing stack: Shopify & Klaviyo
Who You Are
Front-end implementer with 3-5 years shipping Shopify storefronts, ideally in health/wellness/supplements
Quality-obsessed, not perfection-paralyzed: You know the difference between "pixel perfect" and "over-engineered," and you choose speed with accountability
Detail-oriented operator: You catch bugs others miss because you actually test on mobile, check flows end-to-end, and validate against the spec
Builder first, architect second: You've solved problems with Shopify apps and theme customization before reaching for custom code
Naturally curious: You're wondering why pages that look good in design convert poorly, and you have hypotheses about UX friction. You pitch experiments to the growth team
Bonus points: You've built something in the health/nutrition space and understand why customers hesitate before buying
Bonus points: You have allergies and personally understand why people suffer through symptoms rather than seek treatment
Why This Role Matters
Every day, customers abandon our checkout because of friction they don't even realize is there. You'll be the person who removes it. This isn't about technical elegance—it's about making sure the experience we design actually ships, works, and converts. You're the quality gate between vision and reality.
