The Role
We’re looking for a Director of AI Solutions to join the fast-evolving Polaris IQ and Technology teams at Wpromote. In this role, you’ll report into the VP of AI and drive the development and deployment of AI-powered operational efficiencies and AI-driven product features with a high degree of autonomy operating in an individual contributor role. You’ll be responsible for delivering AI agents and prompt engineering that unlocks productivity, enhances decision-making, and elevates the intelligence layer of our proprietary platform. This position blends deep hands-on experience with AI toolchains and a strategic mindset that informs product design, user experience, and technical partnerships. You'll work cross-functionally across product, engineering, and data strategy to shape the future of intelligent automation at Wpromote.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $135,000 - $175,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.
This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.

You Will Be

  • Designing and implementing low- and no-code AI solutions aligned to internal automation needs and Polaris IQ product roadmap initiatives.
  • Building AI agents to represent clients, marketing data, marketing intelligence applications, and roles within the business.
  • Building AI architecture to allow agents to collaborate to solve problems and curate responses dynamically.
  • Lead prompt engineer for all use cases and workflows in the agency.
  • Overseeing prompt engineering and quality assurance for Polaris IQ’s AI agent workflows, ensuring outputs remain accurate, aligned with business objectives, and adaptive to evolving context.
  • Collaborating with Engineering on agent orchestration, context management, and scalable system design.
  • Partnering with internal product and operations stakeholders to map opportunities and convert them into ROI-positive deployable AI capabilities.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert for the organization on intelligent workflows, reinforcing best practices in prompt design, prompt chaining, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
  • Supporting UX and frontend teams in designing intuitive user interactions that unlock agent utility without requiring technical fluency.
  • Contributing to data pipeline and tooling conversations, ensuring prompt context and feedback loops are powered by trustworthy data sources.
  • Managing multiple initiatives simultaneously, balancing experimentation with scalable deployment to meet roadmap goals.

You Must Have

  • 4+ years of experience in strategy, innovation, or technology roles with 1–2 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing AI solutions in a business, ideally in a performance marketing, adtech, or agency setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in prompt engineering across commercial LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
  • Hands-on experience building and orchestrating agents or building AI-powered workflows, ideally using platforms like LangChain, AutoGen, or custom frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL tools to manage structured and unstructured data for AI inputs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical approaches into value for product and operations teams.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering and product teams in agile environments.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize impact, and move quickly from prototype to solution.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in prompt engineering across commercial LLMs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini).
  • Hands-on experience building and orchestrating agents or building AI-powered workflows, ideally using platforms like LangChain, AutoGen, or custom frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL tools to manage structured and unstructured data for AI inputs.

Nice To Have

  • A background in digital marketing, media, or analytics with a strong understanding of performance metrics and Martech ecosystems.
  • Experience working with vector databases, semantic search, or RAG implementations.
  • Familiarity with analytics and data visualization platforms (e.g. Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, Looker, BigQuery).
  • Exposure to prompt evaluation frameworks or agent performance testing environments.
  • Experience working with customer-facing or internal tools for productivity or marketing intelligence.
