What GCD Operational Leadership does at Worldwide

The Manager, Site Development will manage key relationships in an assigned regional territory with sites and key opinion leaders. This role is responsible for maintaining existing alliance relationships inclusive of regular communications and advocating to our internal teams for efficiencies related to selecting site alliances.

This role will also be responsible for identifying new potential sites to join our site alliance network and may also play a supporting role to other members of the team when it comes to deeper integrations with sites in an assigned region of the world.

The Manager, Site Development will work closely with other regional managers in order to further elevate our site relationships globally. These relationships will benefit our customers, from site feasibility through to database lock.

What you will do

  • Identification of new potential alliance sites in assigned region of the world that align with Worldwide’s therapeutic areas of focus

  • Bringing potential new Worldwide alliance sites through our site evaluation process, ensuring that sites meet our expected quality and performance standards

  • Regular communication with assigned Worldwide alliance sites, including but not limited to regular (typically monthly) pipeline reviews with sites and handling of day-to-day issues as required related to those alliance sites

  • Work with business development teams during the pre-award process in order to ensure site alliances are represented in a competitive, data-driven manner and work with the alliance sites to obtain any specific information as needed

  • Work with the study start-up teams to ensure that site alliances are prioritized correctly and that efficiencies involved with utilizing site alliances are properly communicated

  • Represent Worldwide in bid defense preparation and/or bid defense meetings when requested

  • Perform billable sponsor work related to bringing up “pop up” or “research-naïve” sites for studies that require a unique site strategy

What you will bring to the role

  • Partner with colleagues and management of the Site Relationships team to ensure that Worldwide becomes and remains at the forefront of the industry

  • Excellent networking skills to represent Worldwide with key stakeholders.

  • Excellent negotiation, influencing, and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of industry trends and ability to communicate potential impacts to internal and external stakeholders

  • Ability to work at a fast pace with short timelines and minimal oversight.

  • Ability to travel when required, no more than 10%

Your experience

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ Years’ experience in the clinical research industry/healthcare industry

  • Experience working at or working with sites in assigned region

  • Knowledge of healthcare, clinical trials, & privacy regulations

  • Knowledge of the principles of Good Clinical Practice

  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Korean will be considered an advantage
