World Renew

World Renew is a Christian humanitarian and development organization that has been working alongside communities around the world for nearly 60 years to end hunger, poverty, and illness. Founded in 1962 by the Deacons of the Christian Reformed Church in North America, the organization operates as one global ministry with staff, partners, and programs across multiple regions, currently working in 25 countries with approximately 70 local partners.

The organization employs a family-centered approach to ending global poverty, focusing on food security, peace and justice, financial stability, and health. World Renew trains farmers in sustainable agriculture, teaches families about healthy diets and nutrition, and supports communities in creating their own local economic and financial solutions. The organization also responds to disasters globally through its International Disaster Response team and within North America through its Disaster Response Services team, repairing homes and rebuilding hope in disaster-affected communities. World Renew collaborates with churches, local organizations, and global networks to bring about lasting transformation rooted in Christian faith, dignity, and accompaniment.
