About the Role
Are you a developer looking to earn extra income?
We’re looking for a freelance technical interviewer to join the Workoast recruitment team. In this role, you’ll conduct technical interviews and evaluate candidates for various engineering positions.
This is a remote freelance position, paid per role, with an additional commission if a candidate you interviewed gets hired.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates through various channels and share your technical network (headhunting);
Maintain and update candidate information in our ATS (Manatal);
- Design effective technical interview scripts for evaluating candidates;
- Collaborate closely with the recruitment team;
- Conduct hands-on technical challenges when necessary;
- Evaluate code quality, architectural understanding, and problem-solving skills;
- Provide detailed feedback and technical assessments, including candidate briefs for recruiters.
Requirements
- Proven experience recruiting for:
- Frontend Engineers (React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript)
- Backend Engineers (Python, Rust, Node.js)
- International positions
- Prior experience conducting technical interviews (as a technical recruiter or developer);
- Ability to create real-world, practical coding assessments;
- Strong English communication skills, especially for writing clear evaluations;
- Hands-on experience with the listed technologies.

Recruitment Process
- Application Review: Our recruiters will evaluate your profile.
Initial Interview: A technical and English screening.
- Challenge: You’ll create an interview script and assess one of our developers, producing a candidate brief.
- Contract: Upon success, we’ll sign your first contract!
