Learning Designer

Help shape the future of online learning across some of Australia’s leading education brands.

We’re looking for a Learning Designer to join our Product team at Up Online, supporting the design and development of high-quality, engaging, and compliant online courses. Reporting to the Product Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring every course we deliver meets industry, regulatory, and learner needs.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop online learning materials and assessments that are engaging, compliant, and relevant.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and trainers to ensure content reflects current industry standards and practices.
• Participate in validation and continuous improvement activities to maintain quality and compliance.
• Use creativity and LMS functionality to enhance the learner experience.
• Deliver work to agreed timelines, proactively flagging any risks or challenges.

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122), or higher qualification in training and assessment.
• Experience that shows you understand what effective online learning looks and feels like - whether from teaching, training, or design experience.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative approach and confidence working with SMEs and trainers.
• Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Totara) or a willingness to learn.
