Position Overview
Woolpert is hiring a Derivatives Geospatial Technician to join our dynamic Geospatial Team. This position reports to the Derivatives Team Leaders and is responsible for performing geospatial mapping tasks on projects. Qualified candidates must be well versed with ArcGIS Pro, excellent communicators, and work well in a team environment. Priority will be given to candidates who meet the minimum requirements with preferred skills and abilities. Preference given to candidates in the eastern time zone.
We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already possess work authorization in the country the job is located.
What You Will Do:
- Perform geospatial data extraction technical tasks for various projects and clients
- Monitors and executes geospatial processes within their department and ensures all required steps are performed correctly and accurately
- Tracks hours and quality and reports data to the team leader.
What You Will Bring:
- Must have BA/BS degree relating to the Geospatial field and a minimum of one (1) year of professional Geospatial experience.
- Must have knowledge and demonstrated experience regarding ArcGIS Pro data production workflows.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external relationships.
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Must have intermediate Microsoft Office suite skills.
- Must be able to respond quickly to multiple demands in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
- Must be able to interface effectively with other firm resources in a team environment.
- Must be willing to travel up to 5%.
- Licenses/Certifications: GISP, CP, or CMS preferred.
