SUMMARY

As a Senior Technical Curriculum Developer at Wiz, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining our curriculum of training courses and hands-on labs, mentoring junior teammates, and delivering technical training to train our employees or technical trainers. The successful candidate will have experience with Cloud infrastructure or application development, and/or cloud security.

As a Wiz technical curriculum development team member, you will also work closely with stakeholders, technical subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to help design and develop learning content for both self-paced and instructor-led training, including courseware in PowerPoint, lab guides in Markdown, and setting up automation scripts for the lab environments. Given the technical nature of the content, this role requires prior experience in developing highly technical instructional materials.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Become technically fluent in Wiz, keep up to date on changes/releases, and relay that knowledge in the form of content development, training instruction, and educational material.
• Learn and present compelling courses in technical concepts clearly and concisely to large audiences in a way that fully engages our learners.
• Create new courses, collaborating with instructional designers and other subject matter experts.
• Support other development projects and/or improving existing content.
• Support instructors with adopting new materials and updates via creation of instructor guides and train the trainers.
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative with fanatical attention to detail.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 5 years of experience with GCP, Azure, and/or AWS.
• 4 years of experience with Infrastructure as a code: Terraform, Cloud Formation, Azure Resource Manager.
• 4 years of experience with container deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, etc
• Experience with DevOps tools and processes and CI/CD systems.
• Cloud security knowledge in the areas of CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, CNAPP and/or Vulnerability Management.
• 8+ years of Technical Instruction/Curriculum Dev Experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent experience.
• Coding/Scripting (Python, Powershell, Bash) (preferred).
• Cloud or Cybersecurity certification (preferred).
