The Tax Manager II will manage easy-complexity engagements including review, signing, and client relationship management, while supporting more senior team members on medium-complexity projects. ResponsibilitiesHandle the review, signing, and client relationship management for engagements of appropriate complexity, while supporting more senior team members on more complex projects.
Provide limited client relationship management tied to assigned engagements, balancing technical accuracy with clear and effective communication.
Act as a technical resource for junior staff on foundational tax concepts while maintaining an active workload of assigned returns.
Contribute to firm integration and process-improvement initiatives as new practices are onboarded.
Familiarity with a wide range of return types, with primary exposure to 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065.
Periodic involvement with 1041, 990s, financial statements, and miscellaneous filings such as 1031 exchanges and FBAR as needed.

Requirements
CPA or EA designation preferred.
4-15 years of public accounting experience with strong technical tax skills.
Proficiency in individual, partnership, and S corporation tax compliance.
High attention to detail and ability to manage a range of return complexities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, especially in a remote environment.
Benefits
Compensation Range: $90k-$150k
