In 1976, White Cap was born from a simple yet powerful insight: professional contractors needed a reliable partner who could provide everything required to keep projects moving on time, on budget, and safely. The founders recognized the frustration of sourcing materials from multiple vendors and set out to create a one-stop shop that would become the trusted partner contractors could depend on. What started as a local construction supply business has grown into North America's leading distributor, built through the collective journeys of local supply companies united by a shared commitment to exceptional customer service.

Today, White Cap operates approximately 500 branches across North America with more than 11,000 associates supporting approximately 200,000 customers across 15 construction trades. The company has evolved by living its TRUSTED values - Teamwork, Relentless, Service, Transparent, Experienced, and Dependable - every day. From providing hard-to-find products and technical expertise to jobsite training, White Cap empowers professional contractors in non-residential, infrastructure, and residential markets to build America's skyline. The mission remains unchanged: earn the trust of valued customers and relentlessly drive their success by delivering what they need, when and where they need it.
