Software Engineer (Node.js)

WA.Technology is a B2B supplier of iGaming solutions with a rapidly growing number of clients and partnerships in emerging markets. The company offers a state-of-the-art iGaming platform, turnkey solutions, and standalone products that allow operators to enter or expand into emerging markets quickly and easily.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Node.js developer or similar with a strong understanding of OOP principles.
• Strong understanding of Node.js and modern backend development practices.
• Hands-on experience with Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks.
• Experience working with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and integration with frontend or backoffice interfaces.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Practical experience with databases such as SQL, MongoDB, or Redis, including schema design and optimization.
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and API performance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Solid communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable for delivering high-quality results.
