BG and PT onlyWA Technology is a B2B supplier of iGaming solutions seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to join their team. The role involves taking ownership of daily accounting tasks, ensuring financial records accuracy, and supervising a Finance Assistant.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior accounting role in a complex business environment
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA or equivalent) or in final stages of qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience managing month-end close processes independently
- Experience with VAT submissions and tax reporting (primarily in Malta)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Business Central (accounting software)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting function
- Ability to work effectively within a wider finance function and cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English - both written and spoken
