Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Deputy Program Manager to support and lead day-to-day program operations, ensuring seamless execution and continuity in the Program Manager's absence. This role focuses on team coordination, performance tracking, reporting, and compliance within a fast-paced federal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Program Manager backup, ensuring uninterrupted program execution
- Manage daily team coordination, schedules, and action item tracking
- Prepare and deliver status reports, PMR presentations, and executive briefings
- Track and report KPIs and SLA metrics (SS-1 to SS-23)
- Oversee staffing activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and clearance verification
- Coordinate transition activities aligned with PWS requirements
- Support quality management processes, including audits and corrective action plans (CAPs)
Skills Required:
- Must possess an active secret clearance.
- Strong experience in project/program management, preferably in federal/DoD programs
- Excellent coordination, scheduling, and reporting skills
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and ServiceNow
- Solid understanding of KPI tracking, SLA management, and performance reporting
- Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills
- Experience in staffing coordination and security clearance processes
- Familiarity with quality management frameworks and audit processes
- Ability to work in classified environments
- PMP or CAPM certification is required
Preferred Certifications:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level I (Security+, CAP, or equivalent)
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification
- Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent)
