Vita Health is a mission-driven mental health company specializing in acute, virtual behavioral health services with a primary focus on suicide care management. Founded in 2021 and headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut, the company has quickly become a leader in evidence-based mental health interventions that significantly reduce suicide attempts and deaths.

Every 11 minutes, someone in the U.S. dies by suicide, and Vita Health exists to change that devastating reality. Their unique 12-week teletherapy program pairs patients with expert clinicians for weekly one-on-one sessions, combining traditional therapy with a personalized supportive app. The company's approach is so effective that studies published in the American Journal of Psychology show their suicide care program is 80% more effective than treatment as usual, resulting in a 50% reduction in suicide attempts and a 70% reduction in suicide deaths.

Vita Health serves individuals aged 12 and older, including couples and families, providing comprehensive mental health support for conditions like anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and grief. The company partners with health plans, major health systems, colleges and universities, and employers to ensure their life-saving services are accessible and affordable across the nation. In October 2025, Vita Health joined forces with Valera Health to expand access to evidence-based mental health care, including suicide prevention services.
