Security Architect

• Support various security and technologyprojects as the security SME to ensure adherence to Client architectureprinciples, security policies and standards.
• Review project designs and proposals toidentify applicable security requirements.
• Identify security risks againstapplicable security requirements and establish recommended controls andprocesses.
• Advise and enable project teams to makesecurity decisions and provide advice and guidance, ensuring the effective useof common tools and patterns.
• Work with technical teams to guide andsupport implementation of technical security controls.
• Lead escalation and resolution ofresidual project risks.
• Advise project go/no-go decisions forproduction go-live.
• Produce relevant security architecturedocumentation and risk artefacts.

Requirements

• Previous experience with Threat Modellingin project delivery (STRIDE or other frameworks)
• Strong experience with Azure cloud andOffice 365 platform capabilities.
• Experience working with Intune and AzureConditional Access policies.
• Experience working with virtual serverand desktop environments such as VMware and Citrix.

·Strong networking fundamentals.

• Knowledge and familiarity with emergingtechnologies like AI and Blockchain is desirable.
• Familiarity with security architectureframeworks such as SABSA and TOGAF.
• Familiarity with security frameworks suchas NIST800, CIS, ISO27001.
• Industry recognized technicalcertifications are desirable (CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, GIAC securityessentials).
• Microsoft technical certifications aredesirable (Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, 365 SecurityAdministrator, MCSE).
• Familiarity with security and privacyregulations impacting financial services such as SOX and GDPR.
• Excellent written and verbalcommunications skills.
