YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Java Developer (m/f/d), you develop robust, scalable, and maintainable full-stack solutions for complex organisations. Your tasks:

• You combine deep expertise in Java/Java EE, JavaScript (ECMA), TypeScript, and SQL/JPA with clean implementation in an agile process (including Jira) and a strong focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Implementation of business requirements — from analysis and design through to delivery

• Development of proof of concepts to evaluate new technologies and solution approaches

• Pair and mob programming to foster code quality, knowledge sharing, and team cohesion

• Participation in relevant Scrum events and active contribution to the agile delivery process

THIS IS IMPORTANT TO US

• You bring experience as a full-stack developer and feel confident in both backend and frontend work.

• You have very strong knowledge of Java / Java EE and use it to build robust, maintainable backend components.

• You are proficient in JavaScript (ECMA) or TypeScript and implement modern web standards cleanly.

• You work confidently with SQL and use JPA for performant, clean data access.

• You are familiar with agile development processes and work in a structured way with Jira (e.g., boards, tickets, refinements, documentation).

• Ideally, you also have know-how in the GIS domain and are interested in geospatial data or mapping solutions.

• Experience with Spring Boot is a plus, especially for modern backend architectures and services.

• Architecture experience (e.g., interfaces, components, patterns, documentation) is welcome and helps you make well-founded technical decisions.
