We are looking for a detail-oriented, technically inclined, and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Annotator Intern. In this role, you will work on annotating and labeling images, videos, and multimedia data that are used to train and evaluate machine learning and computer vision models.
You will collaborate closely with our Data Science and Machine Learning teams to ensure high-quality datasets that directly impact model performance and accuracy. This role is ideal for students who want hands-on exposure to machine learning workflows, data pipelines, and real-world AI applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Scrape, collect, and preprocess images and videos from multiple sources
- Label and annotate images, videos, and metadata according to defined ML annotation guidelines
- Ensure high accuracy, consistency, and quality of annotated datasets
- Assist in validating and auditing datasets used for training ML models
- Work with Python scripts or tools to support annotation workflows and basic data processing
- Collaborate with the Data Science and ML teams to understand model requirements and improve data quality
- Meet deadlines and maintain proper documentation of annotation tasks
- Communicate issues, edge cases, and anomalies found in datasets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
(6th–8th semester students preferred) - Strong understanding of core Machine Learning concepts (e.g., classification, object detection, supervised learning)
- Good programming fundamentals, preferably in Python
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Experience with or exposure to image/video annotation
- Familiarity with annotation tools such as Labelbox, Dataturks, CVAT, or similar
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Good communication skills and proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or project experience in data annotation, ML, or AI projects
- Hands-on experience with Python scripting for data handling or automation
- Understanding of data formats such as JSON, CSV, XML, and basic dataset structuring
- Familiarity with computer vision concepts (bounding boxes, segmentation, keypoints, etc.)
- Exposure to ML libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV, or TensorFlow/PyTorch (basic level is sufficient)
