HR Generalist (Startup Operations & AI GRC Focus)

Verterim is a Governance, Risk and Compliance company focused on helping organizations build, promote and mature their GRC programs. As an HR Generalist, you will manage everything from the pulse of the office to our international recruitment efforts.

Requirements

• 3+ years in an HR role, preferably within a tech startup or SaaS environment
• Proven experience in US Recruitment and familiarity with US labor laws/payroll (1099 vs. W2) is highly preferred and Indian statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, POSH)
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, GreytHR)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with total discretion across cultural contexts
