Implementation Project Manager
Summary of Position:
The Implementation Project Manager has direct responsibility for managing clients during onboarding from end-to-end and escalating issues to management. The Implementation Project Manager will work in tandem with multiple departments to execute all facets of onboarding new clients. This position will be responsible for the successful onboarding of clients by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards, measuring progress and adjusting performance standards accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrate adaptability and supporting continuous learning.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop implementation process including Standard Operating Procedures
- Manage handoff from Sales to Implementation to Operations
- Review sales sheet and analyze data to determine and communicate timelines
- Establish appropriate timelines for implementations by coordinating with Sales, Operations and the Client
- Track and report implementation status
- Conduct client and implementation surveys for feedback
- Develop, communicate and distribute client specific Statement of Work to assist in the coordination of day-to-day operational aspects of client onboarding to ensure project deliverables are met within the outlined time frame, in line with contract goals
- Create EMR training guides with hands-on walkthroughs for Operations Team
- Coordinates and leads client calls with weekly updates
- Anticipate assignments and projects that need to be or will be assigned and work with senior leadership to schedule
- Support and mentor implementation team members
- Assess workflows through analysis of client data and reporting
- Troubleshoot technical difficulties and provide support to Implementation team
- Work directly with senior leadership and key operational management
- Understands that this role requires specific responsibilities for protecting sensitive data
- Support technical initiatives relating to automation and software integrations

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Technology, Business Management, or other related field preferred
- 5+ years experience in the healthcare or related field
- 2+ years experience in management or supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Release of Information industry and the Health Information Management industry
- EHR (e.g. Athena, eCW, NextGen, Allscripts, GE Centricity, EPIC, Cerner, Meditech, EDM, etc.) and/or clinical experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with clients, senior executives, sales teams, and business partners
- Proven ability using data and analytics to inform and influence decision-making
